Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Cash Now+ app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Cash Now+ Developer (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

Cash Now+ is designed as a local personal finance tracker. Transactions, budgets, debts, savings goals, categories, currency settings, and onboarding state are stored locally on your device. The Application does not require an account, login, subscription, bank connection, payment card, or banking synchronization.

The Application may collect basic technical information when you download and use it. This may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address, the pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, the time spent in the Application, and the operating system you use on your mobile device.

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

AI Features and Data Sharing

Cash Now+ includes optional AI features for two purposes only: general personal finance chat and parsing transaction text that you choose to submit. The AI has no automatic access to your local transactions, budgets, debts, goals, categories, balances, device files, accounts, bank data, or saved financial history.

Before any AI request is made, the Application shows a consent screen. Until you tap the explicit consent button, the Application does not call the AI session creation endpoint and does not send chat or transaction text to the AI service.

If you choose to use AI, the following data may be sent to the third-party AI service:

  • the text of each message or transaction phrase that you submit;
  • a session identifier (chat_id) created when an AI session starts;
  • a fixed system_prompt sent when the session is created;
  • for AI transaction parsing, the selected currency code and the list of available category names so the response can match the app's categories.

The third-party AI service is hosted at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app on Railway infrastructure. Its role is to process the submitted text and generate a response or structured transaction preview for the Application.

You can revoke AI data sharing at any time in the Application's Settings by turning off "AI chat data sharing." When this is turned off, Cash Now+ resets the local AI session identifier and blocks new AI requests until you explicitly agree again.

Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data may be periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. For optional AI features, the third-party AI processor described above receives only the AI fields listed in the "AI Features and Data Sharing" section after consent.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
  • when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with trusted service providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You can stop optional AI data sharing without uninstalling by turning off "AI chat data sharing" in Settings. After AI data sharing is turned off, the Application does not send new AI messages or transaction parse requests unless you agree again.

Data Retention Policy

Local finance data remains on your device until you edit or delete it in the Application or uninstall the Application. If you'd like the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data that you have provided directly to them, please contact them at cashnow@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider (cashnow@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-05-05.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended. Optional AI data sharing requires a separate explicit in-app consent before the first AI request.
